More than 75% of Armenia’s population lives in towns. As far as private cars are available not to everyone, the city public transport is very important for the population. Number of its routs increases with economy growth.
There are buses driving in Yerevan and their number is about 500 units. There are also more than 2500 units of route taxi in Yerevan, running in all directions of the city, and more than 3000 units of taxi.
